iPhone 8’s Fully Assembled Display And Front Panel Images Surface; Nearly Confirm Rumored Facial Recognition For Smartphone

We're seeing a lot of iPhone 8 leaks lately. The amount of information which surfaces for Apple's alleged 2017 flagship makes our job quite difficult.  It's tough to spot the fake from the real, as only a handful of sources have the potential for truly relevant information. One metric that's stood the test of time is corroboration. Today, we've got a handful of images for the smartphone's front facade. Take a look below to find out more.

Ever since leaks related to a 'revamped' iPhone started to surface, we've also seen increased talk related to VR and 3D. One of the very first features that surfaced online for the smartphone is the vertical rear dual camera setup. It's believed that the tenth anniversary iPhone will carry some very interesting VR recording capabilities, aided by the stacked rear vertical dual camera setup.

However, this feature might not be an iPhone 8 exclusive, as Apple just might also launch the iPhone 7s and iPhone 7s Plus with it. Cupertino might also abandon numerical nomenclature for the lineup and choose to launch the iPhone, iPhone Plus and iPhone Pro. While these are big claims, today, we've some display assembly and front panel images for the so called iPhone 8.

These show three major sensors for the iPhone 8's front. They further fan the facial recognition fire for the smartphone. As we head towards September, the big question is will Apple replace Touch ID with facial recognition? It's a big 'if' and the company stands to lose out a lot if the transfer isn't executed properly. After all, Touch ID's security has enabled Apple to expand the iPhone brand by a lot. The Mac world in particular rejoiced when fingerprint recognition made it on Apple's notebook lineup as well.

Facial recognition for the iPhone 8 will open up a new era for the lineup and flagship smartphones in general. It was Apple who made fingerprint sensors popular on smartphones and Cupertino seems to have its cannons lined. However, will they fire? They have in the past. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned. In the meantime, we'll keep you updated on the latest.
