#GalaxyNote7 #GalaxyS7 – Samsung Cloud Is How An Android Backup System Should Be: Launched With Galaxy Note 7, Coming To Galaxy S7 And Galaxy S7 Edge : Samsung has launched Samsung Cloud alongside the release of its latest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7, with the service showing how an Android backup and restore system should be done.
According to the company's press release on Samsung Cloud, the service will make switching to a new smartphone or restoring an older device much easier. In addition, Galaxy Note 7 users will be able to enjoy the service right out of the box, with 15 GB of Samsung Cloud storage readily available.
Samsung Cloud allows users to back up their devices without needing USB cables, with the service wirelessly backing up native apps including Contacts and Calendar and certain third-party apps.
The home screen and user settings, including layout settings and shortcuts, are also backed up, allowing a new device to instantly feel familiar after the backups are restored.
Through the service, users will be able to access the backups that they create across multiple devices, as long as the same Samsung account is logged in.
Content such as Notes, Calendar and Contacts will also be in sync among the devices with the same Samsung account, with any changes being made on one smartphone also showing up on the second smartphone.
Photo syncing is also available, with pictures taken by one device also being shared to the other devices, though users can also choose which albums will be synced with the other devices.
