ZTE on Friday officially unveiled its latest flagship device, the AXON 7, at the Park Hyatt in Beijing.
The device will first be launched in China, with international launches including the United States, Europe, and other regions to follow shortly after.
In terms of design and display, the device features a 5.5-inch WQHD AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2560x1440 pixels, and 2.5D curved glass architecture. Judging by the large display, the device might turn out to be a good option for viewing multimedia content seamlessly.
Moving on to the salient specifications, the handset is powered by a 2.15Ghz Snapdragon 820 SoC and is supported by either a 4GB or 6GB RAM; the smartphone comes in two variants—one with 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and the other with 6GB RAM/128GB ROM.
Both the variants have microSD slots that can accommodate extra storage up to 128GB. It runs on its native OS MiFavor 4.0, which is closely based on Android Marshmallow (6.0). All this is backed up by a large 3,250mAh battery and it also supports Quick Charge 3.0 for faster charging.
The device has got a primary camera of 20MP along with OIS, PDAF, and a brilliant f/1.8 aperture. On the front, there is an 8MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and smart facial beautification.
Features are also plenty on this dual SIM device ranging from all the regular ones along with additional ones like Force Touch, Fingerprint scanner, and NFC. Going by the specifications, the audio output on this handset also looks really promising; it has a Dual speaker along with Dolby Atmos Surround sound.
The AXON 7 comes in two versions: standard and premium. Both versions are available in two colours: Ion Gold and Quartz Gray.
