Rumor: Samsung to Launch Five Flagship Smartphones in 2017

At the same time, it is expected we will see the Galaxy Note 7 and Galaxy Note 7 edge launched later in the year, although exactly when isn't clear, previously this has been September, but rumours say this year's Galaxy Note 6 will arrive in August. However, Samsung is going to up that number to 5 flagship smartphones for 2017, and if you ask us, that isn't the most greatest of ideas. The post claims that it'll feature a foldable 4K display to keep the resolution up when the handset is bent. Those devices will include the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 just as you'd expect, along with a couple of variants in the Galaxy S8 Edge and Galaxy Note 7 Edge. Recent reports indicate that the South Korean tech giant may launch the smartphone as Galaxy X in 2017. In first half of the year, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 edge is likely to be introduced.

The company is also going to introduce Samsung Galaxy X, its first ever smartphone with bendable display.

As for the features on the Galaxy Note 6, the device is expected to come with a microSD slot that is not present on the Note 5. In addition to the name, the rumors are also saying that the phone will come with a 4K display that relies on a diamond PenTile subpixel arrangement. It's said users will be able to fold up the handset to make it easily fit in a pocket.

Samsung is now rumored to be building Galaxy Note 6 and Galaxy Note 6 Lite smartphones. In our previous report, it was stated that the smartphone would be sporting a Snapdragon 823, which is expected to be much more powerful variant of Snapdragon 820.

Both the devices will be coming with Android N OS.

Thus, the Note 6 features 6GB of RAM while the Note 6 Lite has that of 4GB.
