HTC Perfume Tip Reveals Specs and Launch Details

HTC Perfume Tip Reveals Specs and Launch Details

The past couple of weeks have been surfaced with rumors about the upcoming flagship smartphones from Samsung, LG, Sony, and HTC. However, the HTC One M10, the successor of the One M9 that was released past year, has not been making the rounds in the grapevine as much as the others.

LlabTooFer also claims that HTC is planning to release the device in two versions.

There's no guarantee that the One M10 will help HTC's flailing smartphone business, but the fact that the phone's launch has not been scrapped is great news for the Android ecosystem.

Supposedly several prototypes for the phone were created and rejected, forcing the designers to go back to the drawing board and delay the launch. And you can't help but recall the hilarity surrounding the past couple of HTC One launches, where we essentially saw full reviews of devices before HTC had ever officially announced them. Nothing was mentioned in regards to the specs aside from a 3,000mAh battery although a Snapdragon 820, 3GB of RAM, and a fingerprint scanner should all be locks. Like the HTC One A9 the upcoming device will also house a physical Home button on the front. The rumoured handset is also believed to have a IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. If true, this will be a first for HTC.

This speculation comes from LLabTooFeR, who in the past has been a reliable source of various HTC-related leaks. However, HTC's successor to the One M9 from a year ago has been completely absent from the rumors. In China and SE Asia, the company will, as it has done in the past, use a cheaper, less powerful MediaTek SoC.

Needless to say, these information have not been confirmed at this point and will continue to remain under rumor category.
