Last year's Note 7 fire debacle, where battery problems caused some to combust, led to the device being banned from planes in the United States and forced Samsung to remove the handset from sale. The Microsoft Edition of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is only available at Microsoft stores, which could limit the popularity of the device.
But battery capacity isn't increasing, despite the larger sizes, meaning more breathing room for the battery. The Note 7 pushed the engineering envelope with its battery, which contributed to a series of spontaneous smartphone combustions.

Samsung's AMOLED displays have always impressed, but the Galaxy S8's screen is lovely to behold; colours are rich and vibrant without appearing oversaturated, images are detailed and sharp, and video playback is very smooth.

The S8 matches its rivals with a 12-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front camera, which means pictures will look as good as those from any other up-to-date high-end phone on the market.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus have a micro SD card slot on board. The worst thing though, Samsung's brand name was tainted.
Samsung just announced the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus flagship smartphones. It seems that Samsung attempted to increase the security options on this phone possibly in response to what they believe Apple's plans are for the next iPhone.
Included in the customization process is a download of several apps.
As Samsung is also a leading home appliances maker in the global market, the company hopes to apply Bixby to its refrigerators and televisions.
