New flagship launch! HTC 10 videos leaked

New flagship launch! HTC 10 videos leaked

Today is the day when HTC will unveil its highly discussed HTC 10 flagship, which was kept under lock and key. HTC claims the 10 is good for two full days of life between charges, but we'll be the judge of that.

The Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC unveiled its 2016 flagship HTC 10 yesterday.

The HTC 10 has a USB 3.1 Type C connector, supports NFC, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and 4G LTE. The struggling smartphone brand recently reported a third straight quarterly loss for October-December, although losses narrowed due to holiday season demand and the launch of a new phone. Inside, the HTC 10 comes packing 4GB RAM and comes powered by the latest and greatest from Qualcomm, the Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor.

The device's main selling point is the 12-UltraPixel rear-facing camera that features dual-tone LED flash, laser autofocus, OIS (optical image stabilization) and 4K video recording.

The HTC 10 flagship smartphone will be launched on April 12.

There is however an air of confusion as not all countries will be getting the HTC 10 powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset. There's only an image taken by a device labeled the "HTC 10 Lifestyle", which has the same camera specs as the HTC 10 (f/1.8 aperture, ISO 125). But all those internal components come at a cost - especially the phone's processor and RAM. It also features HTC BoomSound Hi-Fi edition, Dolby Audio, and a 3,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

It will arrive preinstalled with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS that will be overlaid with HTC Sense 8.0 UI.

While we've got our textual first impressions of the HTC 10 up and available for you, we've also got them in easy-to-digest video form!

Customers can choose from either a 32GB or 64GB version of the device, both can be expanded with a Micro SD card, up to 2TB - which, obviously, is plenty!
