It has a 5.15-inch full-HD display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor coupled with 3GB RAM.
The Mi 5 comes with a Sony IMX298 16 megapixel sensor with dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, OIS, and 4K video recording. The phone is likely to be priced below Rs 25,000, which will make it a compelling device for the masses seeking high-end features. It also has a fingerprint scanner on the front embedded in its home-button. There are two SIM card slots available here, and the 3,000mAh non-removable battery is also a part of this package.
The phone is the first Xiaomi device to be based on Android Marshmallow with Mi UI 7 being optimised for it. It will be offered in 32GB and 64GB models. While the official launch event is scheduled for March 31st, the sale might begin from the second week of April.
