Don’t call Huawei’s next flagship a smartphone

Huawei is building hype before it announces the Mate 10 on October 16, but the company is awkwardly saying that the phone won't be a phone.

The latest teaser for the phone that will definitely be a phone says the phone is "an intelligent machine." Huawei would like to push artificial intelligence, though it's unclear if the Mate 10 will have an existing digital assistant like Alexa heavily promoted or a new in-house solution. Throughout the teaser, Huawei emphasizes the phone's ability to behave on its own. The Mate 10 can see, think, and learn just like a human to understand humans. It is, according to the company, very aware of its surroundings.

It's understandable to label your new flagship as something fancy; however, there's no point in denying the Mate 10 is a phone. It's the successor to last year's Mate 9 which was a phone, and this will behave just like any other phone. So the Mate 10 is a phone. Just don't tell Huawei we said that.

The Mate 10 will be announced alongside the Mate 10 Pro and Mate 10 Lite next month during a launch event in Germany.

Continuing LG's commitment to quality and peace of mind, V30 users can take advantage of LG's Second Year Promise, which offers limited warranty coverage in year two at no additional cost. And with smartphone VR now coming into its own, the OLED FullVision display takes V30 users into new worlds via Daydream by Google. The new LG V series smartphone features an F1.6 aperture and a Crystal Clear glass lens, an OLED FullVision display, Cine Video mode for producing movie-quality videos, premium sound with advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC and Voice Recognition. The V30 ushers in numerous smartphone innovations and is the pinnacle of LG performance, equipped to support the next generation of mobile networks.

LG V30 Second Year PromisePeace of mind comes with every LG V30. "We are so confident in the V30's quality, that in addition to the manufacturer's first year limited warranty, we are now offering free second year coverage upon registration," said Chang Ma, President, LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc. "Plus, enjoy a service experience that gets you a replacement phone quickly. That's LG's promise to you."

As part of the LG V30 Second Year Promise program, LG is shifting the definition of 'quality' to one that includes not only device specs and build, but also the peace of mind consumers experience using them, particularly during long term ownership. As consumers are using their devices for an average of 18 to 24 months 1, LG is driven to ensure a positive experience beyond initial ownership and into the longer life cycle of its devices.

"We want our customers to feel peace of mind that should they encounter a problem, they can depend on LG," said Ma. Register to get a free second year of limited warranty coverage at LGV30Promise.com. 2

Intense Color and the thrill of Virtual RealityThe LG V30 builds on the strengths of the OLED FullVision display in a body that is compact, slim and light. The QHD+ (2880 x 1440) OLED FullVision display offers fast response time with minimal afterimages when viewing an action-packed movie or playing a game with quick movements.

The V30 takes full advantage of this rapid response time with exceptional graphics delivered by the robust Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform to support Daydream, Google's platform for high quality, mobile VR. With Daydream, users can explore new worlds, enjoy personal VR cinema and play games that put them in the center of the action.

As part of a national promotion with Daydream by Google, V30 owners can also receive a Daydream View headset and a Top VR Content Bundle 3 to explore the possibilities of virtual reality. With five of the top Daydream games, this content bundle takes users on a journey through their imagination while leveraging the latest technology.

A Whole New Way to Tell Your StoryThe LG V30 is a leader in the era of smartphone videography. The main camera on the rear of the V30 features an F1.6 aperture and a Crystal Clear glass lens for improved light transmittance. The second lens in the V30 dual camera is an upgraded 13MP wide angle lens with two-thirds less edge distortion than in the V20.

Using Cine Effect and Point Zoom features, LG's new Cine Video mode allows anyone to produce professional-like movies. Point Zoom allows users to zoom in on any subject smoothly, regardless of its position in the frame, and Cine Effect provides a palette of presets to give videos a unique movie-like look.

Photo capturing is even more advanced with the new V30. Using Graphy in the camera's Manual Mode, users can select professional images from the Graphy website or mobile app and apply the same presets to photos taken with the V30.

Authentic Acoustic ExperienceEquipped with a Hi-Fi Quad DAC, the V30 delivers a superior acoustic experience. Digital filters can be used to adjust the pre- and post-ringing of the impulse response of music with three filter options. Four pre-programmed presets mix and match sound frequencies and decibel scales to produce the audio quality of professional earphones.

The V30 is the first global smartphone to support MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) technology that allows for the streaming of high-resolution audio. MQA captures the sound of the original studio master and folds it into a small file to make high-resolution audio easy to stream.

Advanced AI with Face, Voice and Additional Unlock OptionsThe Google Assistant on the LG V30 features unique capabilities specific to the phone. For example, saying "Ok Google, take a wide-angle selfie" will launch the camera app with the setting on the front-facing camera wide angle mode.

The Second Screen which was introduced in past V series smartphones has evolved into a new Always-on Display (AOD) feature and Floating Bar. When the display is off, the AOD replaces the Second Screen by providing shortcuts to Quick Tools and Music Player without having to turn on the display.

The V30 also features four advanced unlock options. With Face Recognition, the V30 can be unlocked using the front facing camera without pressing any buttons even when the phone's display is off. Voice Recognition uses a combination of the user's voice and user-defined keywords to unlock the V30. The reliable Fingerprint Sensor resides on the rear of the phone for fast, accurate security, and Knock Code allows tapping a pattern on the screen to unlock the V30.

Government-Grade Security for Safe and Secure Mobile Business Access The Rear Key on the LG V30 is equipped with a fingerprint sensor to verify the user's identity, ensuring that your business content remains secure. The LG V30 also supports LG GATE (Guarded Access to Enterprise) for Enhanced Enterprise Security Features and Manageability Functions including:

The best iPhone X cases: T3's curated selection of top cases for Apple's flagship smartphone

If you're looking for the best iPhone X cases on the market today then you've come to the right place. After scouring through a plethora of new cases released for Apple's latest flagship smartphone, here we present the crème de la crème from the best case manufacturers that you can buy today.

We've worked hard to provide a range of iPhone X case styles and types too, meaning that no matter your preference, we're sure you'll find a case here that you'll want to protect your iPhone X with.

There is a lot of choice when it comes round to iPhone X cases, so making sure you choose one that is appropriate to your lifestyle is crucial.

The best iPhone X case is, foremost, one that is appropriate to your intended usage scenarios, with degrees of protection, features and financial outlay secondary considerations.

iPhone X cases - how do you choose a good one?

Choosing a good iPhone X case is not something you should take likely. The iPhone X is a beautiful piece of technology, so you want to maintain those sleek lines as much as possible, but also it is a serious investment and one that deserves premium protection. As such, you need to determine what you prize most, and also how much you are willing to spend, as while these cases are class, no case delivers the best in everything, with some geared toward maximum protection, others toward keeping the phone looking top dollar, and others prising portability and compactness.

What's the best design of iPhone X case?

There are many different types of iPhone X case, including bumper, folio, flip, sock, pouch, sleeve, skin, wallet and clip, and evaluating your lifestyle and likely usage scenarios is absolutely critical in deciding which will be the best design/s for you.

For example, if your job means that you are on the phone 24/7, then a pouch or sock case would not be ideal, as you'll spend ages constantly pulling it out and then putting it back in (quiet back there in the cheap seats!), and when your iPhone X is in use, you then run the risk of a completely unprotected drop or fall. In reality, you should probably have chosen a bumper or clip case instead.

On the other hand, if your iPhone X is used less as a work tool and more as a leisure device, having a chunky bumper case is not ideal either. In these sort of scenarios, such as nights on the town or meals with friends, a slim sleeve, skin or folio iPhone X case would be preferable.

The type of iPhone X case you choose should also be determined by how you intend to store it while going about your daily life. For example, if you tend to throw your phone in carrier or handbag filled with various other items such as keys, deodorants, tablets, cash wallets, hair brushes, nail clippers etc, then picking, say, a leather folio case might not be best option, as sharp or hard objects will scratch it up in no time, leaving it looking tatty. In these cases, it may be better to go with a sock or pouch, or maybe a bumper with additional screen protector.

Who are the best iPhone X case makers?

Unsurprisingly there are A LOT of case manufacturers for iPhone due to the platform's popularity across the globe, however, they are certainly not all worthy of your time. Here at T3 Towers we think these iPhone X case manufacturers are the best of the bunch: Nodus, Greenwich, Snakehive, Foxwood, Mophie, Ted Baker, iVapo, X-Doria, Griffin, Proporta, Speck, Tech21, Spigen, Ringke, Carl Friedrik, Mujjo, Gear4, Caseology, Olixar, Mous, and VRS Design.

Will the next Xiaomi flagship sport wireless charging?

Xiaomi has joined the Wireless Power Consortium, which is the organisation behind the Qi wireless charging standard, used in most smartphones today.

Chinese upstart Xiaomi is joining the Wireless Power Consortium, the organisation that developed the Qi wireless chargingWhere to buy 1949 2434 2503 standard. Amongst its members are the biggest names in the smartphone industry, including Apple, Samsung, LG and more. The Qi wireless standard is an open standard for wireless charging devices, and has been adopted by many, with Apple being the newest entrant with the iPhone 8 series and the iPhone X.

Xiaomi's entry into the Wireless Power Consortium has sparked speculations that the company's next flagship device may support the feature. While that wouldn't be surprising, coming from Xiaomi, what's perhaps more interesting is whether the company can bring wireless charging to its cheaper smartphone.

The Chinese company has a short history in the market, but it has been known to bring the most premium features to the most affordable price ranges. Xiaomi started its tryst in India with the Mi 3, a device that sported a flagship chipset but would cost you less than the Moto G. Best phones with 8 GB of RAM – what are your current options?

It wasn't that long ago that 8GB of RAM was considered a pretty sizable amount even for a computer, but here were are in 2017 and now 8gb ram smartphones are a thing. While it might arguably be an overkill situation right now, more RAM is never a bad thing, especially if you plan to keep your phone for several years. More RAM doesn't necessarily mean you're totally future proof, but it certainly helps.

So who is making phones with 8GB RAM right now? Surprisingly, it's not the big boys like Samsung and LG. In fact, the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features 6 GB of RAM, while the LG V30 "only" has 4 GB. The majority of phones with 8 GB of RAM come from smaller companies that want to make their devices stand out from the crowd and more appealing to consumers.

Best Android phonesBest Android tabletsBest Android game controllers

If you're in the market for a phone with 8 GB of RAM, you'll be happy to hear that there are already quite a few of them to choose from. We've compiled a list of the best ones currently available below.

Editor's note: We will be updating this list regularly as new devices launch.

    Asus ZenFone AR

    phones with 8GB RAM

The ZenFone AR was unveiled back at CES 2017 as the first phone with 8 GB of RAM. In addition to a lot of RAM, what makes this device interesting is that it supports Tango (aka Arcore), Google's augmented reality (AR) platform. It's equipped with a 23 MP primary shooter on the back along with sensors for motion tracking and a depth-sensing camera, all of which are required to run Tango applications.

The smartphone is also Daydream-ready, so it's a great choice for those who want to immerse themselves into the world of VR and AR. It comes with a large 5.7-inch display with QHD resolution and is powered by the Snapdragon 821 chipset.

All those goodies come at a price, as the Asus ZenFone AR retails for $700 on Amazon.

    Specs
  • 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, 515 ppi
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 128 GB of on-board storage, microSD expansion up to 256 GB
  • 23 MP rear camera, 8 MP front camera

    ZTE Nubia Z17

    phones with 8GB RAM

ZTE might be better known for budget and mid-range phones in the US, but they have several higher end options, including one of the very first phones with 8GB RAM. In addition to 8 GB of RAM, the Nubia Z17 also comes with the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset and a great design. It has minimal bezels on the sides and sports a beautiful red circular capacitive home button we've already seen on a number of Nubia devices so far.

The smartphone has a dual-camera setup, allowing you to capture those bokeh images that are all the rage these days, and is splash-resistant. It sports Dolby Atmos-enhanced speakers for a better audio experience but doesn't have a headphone jack. It also doesn't support expandable storage but the highest end variant does come with 128 GB of space, which should be enough for most people.

The Nubia Z17 isn't on sale in the US, but you can still get it via various Chinese retailers such as GeekBuying. The 128 GB model can be yours for around $560, while the 64 GB version will set you back $535.

    Specs
  • 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 403 ppi
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 64/128 GB of on-board storage, not expandable
  • Dual 23 and 12 MP rear cameras, 16 MP front camera
  • Non-removable 3,200 mAh battery
  • Android 7.1.1 Nougat
  • 152.6 x 72.4 x 7.6 mm, 173 g

    phones with 8GB RAM

The OnePlus 5 might be the company's most expensive smartphone to date, but it still offers a great bang for the buck. Announced back in June, the high-end version of the flagship was one of the very first phones with 8GB RAM. It also offers 128GB storage, though that's obviously a lot more common.

Unlike most Chinese smartphones, it offers a very light skin on top of Android called OxygenOS. It doesn't change the look and feel of Google's operating system much but does add a few unique features and customization options that make it stand out from the crowd.

In addition to a lot of RAM, the device also features a dual-camera setup on the back and sports a metal body that's quite easy on the eyes. Let's not forget to mention Dash Charge, which gets the battery up to 100 percent in around 90 minutes. The OnePlus 5 comes in Slate Gray and can be yours for $539.

    Specs
  • 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, 403 ppi
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 128 GB of on-board storage, not expandable
  • Dual 20 and 16 MP rear cameras, 16 MP front camera
  • Non-removable 3,300 mAh battery
  • Android 7.1.1 Nougat

The last smartphone on this list is the special edition of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, which was announced last week, making it one of the newest phones with 8GB RAM. Aside from 8 GB of RAM, the handset also stands out of the crowd thanks to its extremely thin bezels that are gaining popularity on the market.

It features a ceramic body and has an 18K gold coating around the camera and fingerprint sensor. It comes with high-end specs including the Snapdragon 835 chipset, a 12 MP camera with phase detection autofocus and optical image stabilization (OIS), and a 5.99-inch 2160 x 1080 (FHD+) display.

It's not perfect — no smartphone is — as it doesn't have a headphone jack, isn't resistant to water, and has a weirdly positioned secondary camera. You'll find it in the bottom bezel, as there's just not enough room on top. It will likely go on sale in October, but only in China where it will retail for RMB 4,699 or around $715.

    Specs
  • 5.99-inch IPS LCD display with 2160 x 1080 resolution, 403 ppi
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 128 GB of on-board storage, not expandable
  • 12 MP rear camera, 5 MP front camera

  • Android 7.1 Nougat

Huawei to launch four smartphone variants in upcoming Mate series, Mate 10 Lite to sport Quad-cameras

Huawei is rumoured to be launching four variants of its Mate 10 flagship smartphone. The Mate 10 lite is said to sport a quad camera setup with dual cameras on both the front and rear of the device. The Mate 10 Lite is also expected to sport a QHD+ screen and a 3340 mAh battery.

Huawei is all set to launch its Mate 10 smartphone lineup at its event on October 16. A recent tweet by the frequent leakster Evan Blass revealed that Huawei is preparing to launch two more variants of their upcoming flagship other than the Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro. One of the two new variants reported is a watered down version of the Mate 10, allegedly dubbed the Mate 10 Lite (codename Rhone). The fourth smartphone's name has not been revealed yet, however, the leakster claimed it's codename Marcel.

A recent report by VentureBeat revealed entire specifications of the Huawei Mate 10 Lite. The website claims that the smartphone codenamed Rhone, will be the most inexpensive device from Huawei's Mate lineup, but features some interesting hardware. The device will be featuring an 18:9 "FullView" display and a quad camera setup, a person informed of Huawei's plans stated to the website.

The Huawei Mate 10 Lite is said to sport an 83 percent screen-to-body ratio and a full-metal unibody. The smartphone is expected to sport a 5.5-Inch FHD+ display with 1080 x 2160 resolution, which is higher than the standard FHD display rumoured in the regular Mate 10 (codename: Alps). An interesting feature of the smartphone is its camera. The Mate 10 Lite will come a Quad-camera setup with a 16MP + 2MP setup on the rear and a 13MP + 2MP combo on the front. The selfie cameras will feature a "two-person bokeh effect," and a toning flash.

The Mate 10 Lite is rumoured to be powered by an 2.36 GHz Octa-core Kirin 659 processor and 4GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage. The device is expected to be powered by a 3340 mAh battery and work on EMUI 5.1 atop Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-box. Huawei is expected to launch the Mate 10, Mate10 Pro, Mate 10 Lite and the unnamed mystery variant of its Mate 10 series on October 16 in Munich, Germany.

Samsung, LG release flagship smartphones in S. Korea

SEOUL, Sept. 21 (Yonhap) -- Samsung Electronics Co. and LG Electronics Inc. -- South Korea's two top tech firms -- on Thursday started sales of the Galaxy Note 8 and V30 in the country, with their shipments widely expected to beat those of their predecessors, heralding a hit for each firm, industry sources said.

Samsung is estimated to have sold 400,000 units of the Galaxy Note 8 from Friday to Tuesday through preorders, industry sources said. The figure beats the Galaxy Note 7, which raked in some 380,000 preorders.

Samsung earlier said the combined number of preorders came to 850,000, but the actual figure is presumed to be lower due to delays made by mobile carriers and double-counting errors, they added.

The Galaxy Note 8 boasts a 6.3-inch display, its signature S Pen stylus and a dual-lens camera setup. With the Infinity Display, the company has almost eliminated side bezels to give the device a simple yet immersive design.

The phablet is also the first Samsung flagship smartphone to boast two optically stabilized 12-megapixel lenses that will allow users to take both wide-angle and telephoto shots.

Preorders for the LG V30 were also estimated to be 1.5 times more than for the G6 smartphone launched earlier this year, industry sources added.

The LG V30 features the V series' first organic light-emitting diode (OLED) display and top-notch camera, with one of the lenses adopting an aperture of F1.6. The rear camera also adopted the Crystal Clear Lens for the first time in the industry, claiming the lens permits users to capture more details compared with plastic-based lenses.

The release of the V30 is especially significant for LG Electronics as the company's mobile business posted operating losses for the ninth consecutive quarter as of the April-June period.

Apple lays claim to smartphone future with new flagship

    Tuesday, September 19, 2017

CUPERTINO, United States (AFP) — Apple laid claim to the future of the smartphone last Tuesday with a 10th anniversary iPhone X, touting the device as the next generation of mobile computing.

The iPhone X was one of three new iPhone models unveiled at the first event at Apple's new "spaceship" campus, as the California tech giant sought to spark fresh momentum in a global smartphone market seeing slowing growth and tougher competition.

Apple chief executive Tim Cook, speaking at the first event at the new campus theater named for the late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, said the latest flagship handset is a milestone for the company a decade after the first iPhone release.

"Ten years later it is only fitting that we are here in this place, on this day to reveal a product that will set the path for technology for the next decade," Cook said, calling the iPhone X "the biggest leap forward since the original iPhone."

The iPhone X has an edge-to-edge screen 5.8 inch and uses facial recognition to unlock the device, and improved "super retina" display with improved graphics and resolution.

Apple upped the ante by boosting the starting price of the new handset to US$999 for US customers. It will be available starting November 3 in more than 50 markets, while the iPhone 8 and 8Plus will be available later this month starting at US$699 and US$799, respectively.

All three new phones will offer wireless charging using the Qi global standard.

Apple senior vice president Phil Schiller said the glass-body iPhone 8 and 8 Plus handsets were the first smartphones "really created for augmented reality," with improved power and graphics over their predecessors.

Apple also unveiled an updated smartwatch and an upgraded streaming video system for 4K high-definition television.

Essential Phone vs Google Pixel XL: How does the first flagship from the father of Android compare to Google’s?

When it comes to smartphone software, I think I speak for a lot of people when I say that stock Android, or at least as close OEMs can get to it as possible, is ideal. Unfortunately, there just aren't many phones packing stock Android. However, Andy Rubin's Essential Phone is making waves by offering just that, and software isn't the only thing it has going for it.

As we've seen before, the Essential Phone seems to be ruffling some feathers at Google, so ahead of Google's second-generation Pixel debut, it only feels fitting to see how the first device from Rubin compares to Google's first flagship…

Performance: Essential looks great out of the gate, but only time will tell

The original Pixel had flaws in quite a few areas, but where it absolutely killed the competition was in performance. Running a Pixel day-to-day spoiled anyone and everyone who then switched back to another Android device, and that was on last year's chipsets. While the Pixel is almost a year old, it still runs great. But what about the Essential Phone?

Looking past a few bugs that occasionally lock up the phone, performance on the Essential Phone is ridiculously good. This phone flies through Android Nougat like a dream and not a single app (well, except one) saw any real stutters or issues. The first couple of days with the Essential Phone felt exactly like the first few days with the Pixel XL last year.

While yes, the Essential Phone does accomplish this on newer, more powerful specifications, it's still no small achievement. Other phones with the same specifications, namely the Galaxy S8, struggle to keep up with the Pixel. However, time is what will really determine the winner here, so for now, let's call it a tie.

Software: Stock is amazing, but it all comes down to the little things

Getting Android right is a game of balance, and while many may say stock Android is too slim on features, I feel differently. Android itself is full of useful features and is constantly improving as we see versions. Google's version of "stock" Android adds even more of these.

However, there's one very important thing to note here. Stock Android itself has a lot features, but if they aren't optimized for the device they are installed on, they can very quickly become boring.

The Pixel and Nexus devices prove this. By adding little touches like being able to swipe the fingerprint sensor to get to the notification bar, changing up colors throughout the system, the ability to double-tap the display to activate the ambient mode, and features like "night light," the experience feels much more complete.

On the Essential Phone, you get none of this. You still get stock Android's features such as multi-window, quick multi-tasking, and ambient display (note, without the double-tap gesture), but it just doesn't feel like any thought was really put into the software beyond the essentials.

Bad jokes aside, Essential has room to grow here, and it has already mentioned a few additions the company plans to make in the coming months. For now, though, the Pixel is clearly a better choice as far as software.

Camera: Sometimes dual-cameras just aren't that good

Do I have to write anything here? It's the Pixel. We all know the Pixel is better.

But in all seriousness, Essential's camera does need work. According to the company, it is "happy" with the hardware, but software clearly isn't finished, as evidenced by the horribly slow camera app. The Pixel on the other hand has been widely regarded as the best smartphone camera on the market, even through a year of other releases (well, mostly).

Design: Essential shines, while the Pixel looks straight outta 2013

Smartphone design has a strong influence over purchases, and Google seriously dropped the ball on its first flagship. The Pixel XL has insanely large bezels for basically no reason, and a bland rear design that's a mish-mash of glass and metal.

Essential, on the other hand, tried things we rarely see in the industry. It has super slim bezels that beat or rival the competition, a strong titanium frame that feels incredible, and a shiny ceramic back. That combined with the heft of this surprisingly small phone easily beats out what Google offered with its first device.

Updates: The Pixel is a clear winner, but Essential isn't messing around

Android updates are questionable on anything that doesn't come from Google, and the Pixel continues the trend we've seen for years. When it launched it ran the latest version of Android and sees updates within days of release, and that's because it's Google's phone.

Essential has a near-stock version of Android, but it's never going to beat Google to a major update. The phone launched with Nougat, and it's getting Oreo in the next few weeks. While faster updates are always better, that timeline will still likely make Rubin's startup the first non-Google company to push an OTA with 8.0.

Obviously, you're going to want to buy a Pixel if you want updates as soon as possible, but Essential definitely isn't slacking in this department.

Conclusion: Both company's hit the ground running, but version 2 will be much more interesting

So why did we compare a year old phone to one that just came out? Andy Rubin's new company is aiming to take on the entire Android market, and it has Google worried. It's fascinating to watch the father of Android, a former Googler himself, competing so directly with Google.

Essential fares well against the original Pixel XL, but in just a couple of weeks we're getting the Pixel 2 family. That's going to include the Pixel 2 XL, which is going to have a "bezel-light" front panel. While we aren't expecting it to look like the Essential Phone, the added water resistance, front-facing speakers, and use of an OLED panel will undoubtedly be enough to pull quite of lot of potential buyers away from Essential.

Really, it's the second-generation of both of these devices that will decide who is doing a better job here. So far, it's a close call that really comes down to what you prefer. Essentially: Stunning hardware and compromises on the camera, or a great package that's not much of a looker. Both bring an experience for the Android fan, and software bloat is nowhere to be seen.
