High spec, low cost OnePlus 3 to be released in June – no invite needed
OnePlus has released the first official teaser trailer for its upcoming flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 3. It even features famous YouTuber MKBHD, all of whom talk about the OnePlus One and the anticipation leading up to the OnePlus 2. The latest release from the company is going to be that of the OnePlus 3. "It was a matter of survival of the fittest, and adding a possibly weak "me too" product into the otherwise strong OnePlus lineup would expose the company to a cruel market", said Lau at the Converge conference in Hong Kong. Following tradition, the OnePlus 3 will also be an Amazon exclusive.

It's a six second video clip that just outlines the shape of the smartphone, but doesn't really reveal anything about the design or features.
However, we know that the forthcoming device will be launched with its virtual reality headset called Loop.
Additionally, IB Times reported that the launch of OnePlus 3 will begin at 12:30 PM EST on June 14 in the U.S. and the device will go on open sale for all the interested buyers at 3:00 PM EST on the same day.
A per a tweeted image by Evan Blass, the OnePlus 3 seems to have curved edges at the rear and sports a brushed metal finish. The back of the phone will sport a 16MP camera while the front face is expected to house an 8MP lens. The device will run OxygenOS 3 based on Android 6 Marshmallow out of the box. Other connectivity options of the smartphone include GPS, USB, Bluetooth and 4G LTE, 3G.
According to a report on, MobiPicker OnePlus 3 will be offered in four different variants. Rumours have suggested that the final price of the handset, at top 6GB RAM and 64GB storage spec, will be $455 which is about £310.
