HTC One M9 Prime Camera Edition Launched in Europe

As per the report, this smartphone is listed on the company's German website.

Taiwan-based handset maker HTC has silently launched its flagship device One M9 Prime Camera edition in the European market. The One M9 Prime Camera Edition is now listed on the company's official website for Germany and is also available for buy at around Euro 22.70 (roughly Rs 1,700) per month for a period of 24 months on contract. It didn't really work out for the M8 EYE though, so HTC is hoping that matters would be different for the Prime Camera Edition.

When compared with its bigger brother, this device holds the change in terms of hardware units.

For 2015, HTC gave the One M9 the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset backed up with 3 GB of RAM.

Sure, it has a new flagship smartphone on the way in the 10, but HTC has now made a decision to launch a new version of last year's top of the line offering. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor clubbed with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable by up to 2TB via microSD card. So it has the same 5-inch 1080p touchscreen, an UltraPixel front-facing camera, and a 2,840 mAh battery. As indicated, this device is shipped with Android 5.0 Lollipop topped with Sense 7 UI on top of it. For the 2016 One M9 Prime Camera Edition, HTC have used a 13MP rear sensor equipped with optical image stabilisation and the software includes the ability to shoot in RAW format.

Connectivity features include bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, NFC, Glonass, GPS/ A-GPS, microUSB, GPRS/ EDGE, 3G and LTE. Those are the exact specs on the HTC One A9 camera, so we presume that the camera is a direct port from the mid-range device. Will it fare well?
