HTC to Launch Two New Smartphones: HTC 10 and 10 Lifestyle

While the HTC 10 feature LTE Cat.9 support (maximum download speeds up to 450Mbps), the HTC 10 Lifestyle comes with LTE Cat.6 support (maximum supported download speeds up to 300Mbps). There's also said to be a 12-megapixel "Ultra Pixel" camera with optical image stabilization and laser autofocus.

There is also a 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge, this can charge the handset to 50% in 30 minutes, the device will also come with Android Marshmallow.

HTC is gearing up to launch its next flagship smartphone, the HTC 10, this week but as usual, all of the details have leaked beforehand.

Camera: According to the company the HTC 10 will come with world-class front and back cameras. Users can pick 32GB or 64GB of flash storage, and the microSD slot can accept up to 2TB of extra storage. The three colors (gold, white and black) are also confirmed.

Judging by the leaked video, the HTC 10 will be fitted with a USB-C port, the latest standard in USB technology. As a result, the general build on offer is one which not only looks good, but feels good and is also highly durable with the HTC 10 having undergone copious amounts of durability testing prior to its release.

Rumoured specs suggest the HTC 10 will have a Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM - just like Samsung's snappy Galaxy S7.

Six more wallpapers have made their way to the internet courtesy of LlabTooFeR which are reportedly going to be found on HTC's upcoming 10 smartphone and Sense 8.0 UI. That's a rare feature for the front camera and might help make for sharper selfies.

The HTC 10 smartphone was announced Tuesday as the latest flagship by the Taiwanese manufacturer. But HTC hasn't gone for wholesale changes as you can see. India and a few other countries will get the Lifestyle, but we're still waiting for HTC to reveal information on price and availability. It was rumored at one point that perhaps the company will release two variants of its next flagship which will be powered by different processors.
