The Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus to launch in India on March 23rd

Chinese multinational technology firm Lenovo has unveiled its latest flagship, the Vibe K5 Plus smartphone, in India.

The cost of the smartphone is Rs.8,499. The smartphone goes on sale from March 23.

The New Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus Mobile was launched alongside the Lenovo Vibe K5 mobile in Barcelona.

Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus comes with a 5-inch FullHD IPS display with a 1080×1920 pixels resolution which roughly translates to 441ppi pixel density. It comes equipped with a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing snapper to facilitate video calling.

In terms of the innards, there is a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor and 2GB of RAM, which does seem low compared to rival smartphones.

The Vibe K5 Plus is yet another promising product that manages to mix both mid-range specs and an attractive modern design language. Lenovo had earlier launched the TheatreMax technology in the K4 Note smartphone. The smartphone also features a 2,750mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for up to 15.1 hours of talktime and up to 322 hours on standby mode. Users can pair a K5 Plus with AntVR glass and convert any content (videos, games, live streaming, YouTube etc) into a large screen virtual screen experience. On the storage front, the K5 Plus offers 16GB of internal storage along with a microSD card that can accommodate an extra 32GB. Connectivity features include dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and microUSB 2.0. We are not too certain how long the battery life will be, as it come comes with a 2750mAh battery, which does seem small to us, although can be removed and replaced if needed.

The Vibe K5 Plus has full metal body and this device is light device having weight of 142 grams and thickness of 7.9mm.
