HTC One M10 aka Perfume flagship smartphone could launch as ‘HTC 10′

While HTC hasn't made an official announcement, there are rumors that it could be unveiling the next flagship smartphone on April 11. As we inch closer to the rumored launch date, the leaks are coming in thick and fast. The latest report claims that the upcoming smartphone may not be called the One M10, and HTC could be opting for a different name altogether.

Leakster Evan Blass tweets that HTC's flagship smartphone could be simply called as HTC 10. Now the reason behind this move is yet unknown. But it does seem like HTC may be trying to set the new smartphone apart from the previous 'One M' devices. Its latest teaser hinted that the company is working on 'something' to 'make your phone even better'.

The leaks we have come across so far have hinted towards a fingerprint scanner embedded into the home button, a metal body with chamfered edges and a rear camera module with LED flash and laser autofocus. HTC has also promised that the camera on the upcoming smartphone will offer a 'very very compelling camera experience'.

HTC 10 specifications and features:  Based on rumors, the smartphone is expected to feature a 5.2-inch WQHD display, Snapdragon 820 chipset or a MediaTek chipset, 4GB of RAM, and multiple storage options along with a microSD card slot. It is also likely to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow wrapped under HTC Sense 8.
