Galaxy S7 Edge is as sexy as it is smart

Samsung recently unveiled its 2016 flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge at its Unpacked Event in Barcelona.

The device comes with a free a Gear VR headset for those who decide to pre-order either device-Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge-in India.

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge smartphones are Samsung's latest and greatest offering to the mobile world. That's why Samsung did not take more time to launch two important phones in the Indian telecom market. The launch of these two smartphones was confirmed Monday, after the Samsung Nepal Office sent an official invitation for the launch.

Samsung has built the much awaited 5.1-inch Galaxy S7 and 5.5-inch Galaxy S7 Edge with 3D glass and metal and given ergonomic curves for a comfortable grip for smartphone buyers.

The S7 devices improve upon the features of the S6 phone in a number of ways, including the new option for wireless charging, an always-on display and - in the case of the Edge 7 - a new dual-edge design, according to Samsung's specs.

Watch the clip below for more details on the improvements brought by Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Both Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processors.

Samsung also has IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. Verizon users will not be able to use one of Samsung's most important innovations...at least for now.

Samsung is a leader in both global and Indian market. Even though the megapixel amount has been chopped from 16MP to 12MP, the new dual sensor with f/1.7 aperture comes with probably everything you can ever want in a smartphone camera.

To celebrate the special Galaxy S7 offer, T-Mobile is giving customers in NY a VR experience the day before the national launch of the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge. The battery capacity in the Galaxy S7 Edge is 3,600 mAh, while the iPhone 6s Plus is powered with 2,2750 mAh. The 32GB Galaxy S7 Edge is priced at £639 - no pricing for the 64GB version is now available - and the Galaxy S7 32GB version will cost £5969.

Phone Arena apparently subjected the new Galaxy S7 series of handsets to its custom battery test.
