So far, there are rumors that the OnePlus 5T will come with just about the same specs used on the current OnePlus 5. The pop-up stores that opened in New York City also saw a beeline from fans and consumers alike. While the OnePlus 5 has made some obvious upgrades in the processor and camera departments, some might be disappointed that there's nothing new in terms of the display screen. As for the front, the two are nearly identical. That is for the 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The OnePlus 5 sports a dual-camera set-up - 16MP and 20MP on the back. While the OnePlus 3T is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 with a quad-core CPU clocked at 2.35 GHz and an Adreno 530 GPU, the OnePlus 5 steps it up to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 with an octa-core CPU clocked at 2.45 GHz and an Adreno 540 GPU.

Software-wise, the pair has the same OxygenOS and Android 7.1.1 Nougat running the show, although the OnePlus 3T got this OS via an OTA update while its successor comes with the OS preinstalled.

The OnePlus 5 is in line for the Canadian folks too, with the price tag of 649 CAD (Slate Gray) and 719 CAD (Midnight Black). OnePlus 5 boasts of Qualcomm's latest mobile SoC, the Snapdragon 835.

The OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 3T continue to run on Android's latest versions.

OnePlus 5 is more charming to hold than OnePlus 3T, as the phone has managed to be slimmer and slicker.
