While their most recent flagship saw LG go back to basics, they've now announced a new smartphone aimed at those whose needs are a little heavier.
The LG X Power2 is set to launch globally this month, with LG talking it up as a "mass-tier phone targeting heavy-duty users who are in the market for a competitively priced device with a large display, advanced camera features and long battery life."
It's got a whopping 4500mAh battery that LG claim will last you an entire weekend of normal use without needing a recharge.
Beyond that, it's packing a 5.5-inch HD In-cell Touch display and 13-megapixel primary camera. Spec-wise, it'll run on Android Nougat and leverage the power of a 1.5 GHz Octa-core MediaTek chipset.
According to Juno Cho, president of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company, "the LG X power2 was designed to meet the demands of users who want maximum usage from their smartphones between charges and many of the advanced features found on our flagship devices."
"The combination of outstanding battery life, spacious display and exceptional camera capabilities made the first X power a popular proposition for millions and we expect the newest iteration of the X power series to be even more attractive."
Australian pricing and availability has yet to be announced.
