Samsung's next flagship leaked in press renders

Furthermore, Blass also tweeted last week the spec sheet for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, containing some of the key features of the said version of Samsung's flagship smartphone.

Two images have appeared online claiming to show exactly what the S8 will look like. Stating that "if Samsung isn't going to unveil the new Galaxy S8 during Mobile World Congress this year, BGR will", we got to see several clear Galaxy S8 pictures from a number of angles.

LG can also benefit from starting with a cleaner slate as Samsung is still trying to pick up the pieces from its Note 7 debacle that forced the company to ditch the smartphone.

The device has a bigger display with 6.2-inch resolution, but the screen won't be much wider, but taller with 18:9 ratio, giving the phone a sleek look.

Samsung watchers had been hoping for a glimpse of the Samsung Galaxy S8 but it wasn't to be. Ltd had a rough ending previous year after many Samsung Galaxy Note 7 holders reported their phablets exploding in flames.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2017 event will be held on March 29, at 11 a.m. EDT in New York City. The 12-inch Galaxy Book has a 3.1GHz Intel Core i5 dual-core processor, up to 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage, with a 13 megapixel camera on the back and a 5 megapixel one on the front.

The press render confirms that the smartphone will feature a dual curved edge display with no bezels on the sides.

Both Apple and Microsoft also have hybrid devices in the form of the iPad Pro and Microsoft's hugely successful Surface Pro line. Samsung's voice assistant would be compatible with all the native apps on Galaxy S8, and will speak eight languages including Chinese, Korean and English.

Samsung has removed all the physical buttons from the front of the phone in a nimble ploy to keep the overall size of the device small enough to use one-handed even with the increased size of the display.

Mobile World Congress is now underway in Barcelona and our team is there covering some major announcements.
