If you want to put your greedy little hands on a brand new Moto X Pure, the 32 gigabytes version, the hot deal of the day arrived to us courtesy of BestBuy. For only $250 (limited time offer, remember that), which translates into $100 off vs the current retail price of $350, you'll get a Moto X Pure edition in the best colorway, black that is, unlocked, loaded and SIM free, of course.
The Moto X Pure edition was released one year ago, in 2015, and if you're cool with last year's flagship, it doesn't get any better than this folks, and you can take it to the bank. For $250, you'll get a lot of smartphone folks and even if what we're dealing with here is "just" the 32 gigabytes version, the Moto X Pure is an excellent droid by any metrics.
Also known as the X Style, the Moto X Pure edition boasts a 5.7 inches wide screen of QHD resolution (1440 x 2560 pixels) and an impressive 520 pixels per inch density. The display is protected by Corning's Gorilla Glass 3 and the phone runs on Android Lollipop (upgradable). Under the hood, you'll find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 system on chip, which translates into a hexa core architecture (6 CPUs), working together with an Adreno 418 graphics processing unit.
There are also 3 gigabytes of RAM on board and if 32 GB of internal storage capacity are not enough for you, there's always the micro SD expansion port coming to the rescue. The primary camera is a 21 MP variety featuring phase detection, auto HDR and all the bells and whistles you'd expect in a flagship smartphone while the secondary camera for selfies and video chats has 5 MP. Both cameras are capable of recording full HD video 1080p, but the primary comes with 4K capability. The battery is a non removable 3000 mAh variety with TurboPower charging and the chassis is made of metal, while the internals feature a water-repellent nano-coating.
