Unlocked models of the Samsung Galaxy S7 are up for sale on eBay at a discounted price of $599.99. The smartphones, however, are international versions of the device, which come with a few differences.(Photo : Samsung)

Even as preorders are just being shipped out, a deal for the unlocked version of Samsung's newest flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S7, has surfaced on eBay.

The Galaxy S7 on sale, with model number SM-G930F, is compatible with most GSM and LTE networks, including T-Mobile and AT&T. The device is not capable of running with CDMA networks such as those used by Verizon and Sprint.

For customers using T-Mobile and AT&T as their carrier, the eBay deal is a good one as the Galaxy S7 is being sold for only $599.99 by Techno Trading House.

The smartphones up for sale are brand new items, not refurbished ones, but they do not come with factory warranties. In addition, it should be noted that being an international model, the Galaxy S7 devices are powered by Samsung's Exynos 8890 chipset and not the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset found in models released specifically in the United States.

Shipping is free within the U.S. and customers are able to choose between the colors of black, silver and gold for the smartphone. International shipping is also available for the deal.

As of the time of writing, 287 units have already been sold, and the listing says there is only a limited quantity available for the handset. Interested customers looking for a deal for the Galaxy S7 should not wait any longer and take advantage of the offer, which presents a $100 discount compared to the full price of the smartphone if purchased from carriers in the U.S.

Certain carriers, meanwhile, have launched their own deals for the Galaxy S7. T-Mobile has a buy one, get one deal for the Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 edge, which runs for a limited amount of time. Customers who purchase one of Samsung's newest flagships from the carrier through an installment plan will get the second device without additional charge after the application of a rebate card. The purchase will also come with the Samsung Gear VR headset.

AT&T has a similar deal in place for the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, where customers are required to buy the handsets through an installment plan. However, instead of a rebate card like T-Mobile, AT&T will be crediting the amount of the second smartphone over a 30-month span to the user.

Grabbing the T-Mobile and AT&T deals, however, will lock in the customer to one subscriber and an installment plan with one carrier. The offer on eBay is for an unlocked version of the Galaxy S7 that, coincidentally, can be used with these two carriers.
