Samsung India all set to launch new smartphone on Thursday

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who has been promoting Samsung's J-series smartphones in India, will also promote the new device of the South Korean company. Earlier today, Samsung officially introduced the public to the new Galaxy J5 (2016) and Galaxy J7 (2016) in China. It comes with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear with LED flash and autofocus, along with a 2-megapixel camera on the front. Like us on Facebook Other than the purported "Bike Mode" feature, the Galaxy J3 offers a 5-inch HD Super AMOLED display featuring 1280×720 pixel resolutions. There is 32GB of internal storage which can be further expanded via provided MicroSD card slot.

The other part of the story includes a much less powerful smartphone, the Galaxy J5.

The predecessors to the phones, Galaxy J7 (2015) and J5 (2015), were released a year ago with a number of great features.

The Samsung Galaxy S7 has really taken the Android smartphone world by storm as the flagship smartphone has been the talk of the town ever since it was unveiled during the Mobile World Congress 2016. Both smartphones come with dual SIM support and feature similar designs but with different hardware.

There is a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP front-facing camera. As you might've guessed, the Galaxy J5 (2016) is smaller than the J7 (2016), with the former packing a 5.2-inch 1280x720 Super AMOLED display and the latter offering a 5.5-inch 1920x1080 Super AMOLED screen.

In addition, the Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) reportedly runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, supports 4G Long-Term Evolution (LTE) connectivity, and is expected to retail at less than $300.

As of now, there is no word on the pricing and availability outside China. Although a few millimeters shorter and narrower than the J7, it is still thicker at 8.1mm and comes in the same three color options.
